I still remember those words,
Words which were few..
Of all the knowledge and wisdom,
Imparted by you.

You gave in to all my cries,
Most of the time you flew in from dubai for me the toys.
You pampered me with your love..
Gave me everything irrespective of its worth.

Your dressing up always caught me in awe,
I tried to imitate you..
But couldn't get any closer.

You never said "I'm leaving",
Neither you bid a good bye.
You were gone before I knew it,
I stand here and question God why..

My pain, my silence now noone would decode,
Neither would anyone walk with me till the end of the road.
How much I am gonna miss you, You would never know
It would be one of those priceless emotions which I cannot show.

There are gonna be many instances,
When I m gonna miss you and I m gonna cry.
But if things had been my way,
I would have never let you die.

Though your death left me numb and still,
In my heart, you hold a place, that no one could ever fill.

Though I m crying out my heart,
I never even imagined a life without you apart.
Things are not going to be the same without you around,
Although it hurts so bad..
On the mere mention of your name,
I will smile and be proud that you were my Dad.
